New York una Ciudad para amar/ New York a City to love

New York, una de mis ciudades favoritas en todo el mundo, aunque es sucia, intensa, y definitivamente sobrepoblada, sin contar la cantidad de turistas que llegan todos los días, tiene una fascinación que encanta a todos; tal vez el hecho de que toda película, noticia y/o evento importante suceda en esta polifacética ciudad nos tiene obsesionados con ella, o simplemente es que New York es el reflejo de lo que todos queremos alcanzar. Sea lo que sea esta metrópolis tiene es un encanto único que hace que todo el mundo exclame ¡Yo amo New York!/ New York, one of my favorite cities around the world although it is dirty, intense, and definitely overcrowded, without counting the number of tourists arriving every day, has a fascination that charms everyone; perhaps the fact that the movies, news and every important event happens in this multifaceted city has us obsessed with it, or just that New York is a reflection of what we all want to achieve. Whatever it is this metropolis has a unique charm that makes everyone exclaim I love New York!

He tenido la oportunidad de visitarla muchas veces en prácticamente todas las estaciones, en algunas ocasiones por un par de días y en otras por bastante mas que eso, algunas veces he estado como turista y otras hasta me ha tocado trabajar allá, y puedo decirles que en cada una de mis estadías he descubierto cosas maravillosas he interesantes. Aquí les dejo 17 de mis razones por las que definitivamente amo New York./ I have had the opportunity to visit it many times in almost all seasons, sometimes for a few days and others for quite more than that, sometimes I have been as a tourist and others I have been working there, and I can tell you that in each of my stay I discovered wonderful and interesting things. Here I leave my 17 reasons why  I definitely love New York.

1. Porque la bienvenida que te da new york te deja sin aliento, una gigantesca dama que observa a todo el que llega, desde el momento en que vez la estatua de la libertad te quedas enamorado de esta ciudad, una de las maravillas del mundo moderno. / Because the welcome that New York gives you leaves you breathless. A giant lady who watches every visitant that arrive. From the moment you watch the Statue of Liberty you stay in love with this city.

2. Porque es una de las ciudades mas multiculturales del mundo, escuchas todos tipos de lenguajes encuentras todos tipos de comidas, y casi nadie pertenece a New York como tal, te pones a hablar con la gente y todos vienen de un país o una ciudad diferente. / Because it is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, you can hear all kinds of languages, ​​find various kinds of foods, and almost no one belongs to New York if you  talk to people you realize that all come from a different country or a different city .

3. Porque los taxis de new york no los encontraras en otras partes. Todo el mundo quiere estar parado en las calle de New York y sacar la mano y decir TAXI, pero ahi mucho mas que eso; ir en el taxi mientras vez las noticias, escuchas las historias del chofer que probablemente es de otro país. es una experiencia que solo puedes vivir en NY / Because new york's Taxis are like nothing else. Everyone wants to stand on the street in New York and put straight your hand and say TAXI, but there much more than that; going in the taxi while you watch the news, listen to the stories of the taxi driver who is probably from another country; is an experience that you can only live in NY

4. Porque todavia puedes ver a turistas con sus mapas tratando de adivinar a donde ir, y para los que son como yo que preguntamos como llegar están los nativos que te van explicando mientras caminan y al final te dicen yo voy en esa dirección y te acompañan la mitad del camino / Because we can still see tourists with their maps trying to figure out where to go, and for those like me who ask how to get there, are New Yorkers who explaining to you while they're walking and at the end they say you  "I go in that way"  and they walk you halfway

5. Porque los Shows de la calle hacen tu estancia mas placentera y puedes ver uno a donde vayas./ Because the street entertainers make your stay more pleasant and you can see them wherever you go.

6. Porque caminas 50 cuadras y estas como si nada, te vas entreteniendo con las tiendas, la arquitectura y la gente, ademas todo el mundo camina en New York. / Because you can walk 50 block like nothing, you get distracted with shops, architecture and people, also everyone walks in New York.

7. Porque compre una revista Vogue en una esquina y el vendedor me dio su punto de vista sobre la sección de estilo. / Because I bought a Vogue magazine in a corner and the seller gave me his point of  views of the style section.

8. Porque el metro un mundo subterráneo, encuentras de todo allí abajo, sobre todo en la estación de la calle 42. / Because the subway is an underground world, you can find everything down there, especially in the 42nd Street Station.

9. Porque todos quieren buscarte conversación, así sea que estés haciendo una fila o en el metro, e neoyorquino siempre tiene algo que decirte algo que hablar algo que preguntarte, se que puede ser algo incomodo ara otras personas, pero a mi me encanta. / Because everyone want to talk to you, so whether you're doing a line or in the subway, the New Yorkers has always something to tell you something to talk about something to ask you, I know that can be awkward to others, but I love.

10. Porque realmente te sientes como un personaje de Gossip Girl cuando te sientas en las escaleras del MET. / Because you actually feel like a Gossip Girl character when you sit at the MET stairs.

11. Porque las cámaras de TV están en todas partes, a donde veas están grabando un programa de TV o un spot o una serie. / Because TV cameras are everywhere, wherever you see it's recording a tv program, a spot or a tv series

12. Porque Time Square es mas iluminado de noche que de día, tanto así que casi tienes que utilizar lentes de sol / Because Time Square is brighter at night than during the day, to the point that you almost have to wear sunglasses

13. Porque la moda esta en el aire y se vive. Todo el mundo va bien vestido, lleva las tendencias de modas, unos mas valientes que otros, y algunos simplemente hacen su moda. / Because fashion is in the air and alive. Everyone is well dressed, wearing fashion trends, some more brave than others, and some just make their own fashion.

14. Porque los museos son Impresionantes, el arte, la historia, todo lo que puedes encontrar en ellos es maravilloso. / Because museums are Breathtaking, art, history, everything you can find on them is wonderful.

15. Porque no importa a la hora que salgas siempre hay algo que hacer, por algo la llaman la ciudad que nunca duerme./ Because no matter when you go out there is always something to do, that's why it's called the city that never sleeps.

16. Por el Central Park. Porque aunque lo hemos visto en muchas películas y hemos leído mucho de el, no terminas de entender su majestuosidad hasta que estas allí, es increíble la paz que sientes, las cosas que vez, de verdad olvidas que estas en la jungla de concreto. / Because the Central Park. Because although we have seen it in many movies and we have read much of it, you don't finish to understand his majesty until you're there, it's amazing the peace that you feel, the things that you see, you really forget you' re in the concrete jungle.

17. Porque cada foto que tomas es como una postal o una escenografía de película. / Because every picture you take is like a postcard or a stage of film

Por esto y otras cosas que a lo mejor se me pasan es que yo y muchas otras personas amamos NY. / For this and other things that I and many others love NY.
